Town Hvar – one of the most attractive
sights on the island, with historical and cultural
heritage, lots of old churches and monuments, and as the
most famous part, there is the oldest communal theatre
in the Europe.
Also well known is joyfully daily life, which become
the right place for going out in the night.
Pakleni otoci - lots of small islands and islets
famous for its rich nature surrounded with crystal blue sea, with
lots of small hidden bays and beaches like famous Palmizana
and Zdrilca.
Stari Grad - a small town at the bottom of a 4 mille deep
bay, at the place of old antique settlement Pharos,
founded by Greeks in the year 384. Before Christ;
later replaced by Romans, who left rich historical
heritage, among those the remains of Greek ceramics, Roman
sculptures, the oldest fishpond, navy charts, etc.
Sucuraj - small village at the east part of the island,
which was founded by Illyrians, with rich history
and rustic monuments.
Vrboska - picturesque fishing village, famous for its collection
of old masters paintings in church of Saint Lorens.
Jelsa - picturesque village, famous for its rich and very
old navy tradition.
Grapceva Spilja - the most beautiful and the most
important archeologically cave on the island.
Spilja Svete Nedilje - Cave with the remains of
Saint Augustine’s monastery.
